This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. The role includes ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non‑functional and compliance requirements. It also ensures that solutions are well designed with maintainability, ease of integration and testing built into the outset. Individuals in this role possess strong proficiency in industry standard development and testing practices, and have extensive experience using design and architectural patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to story refinement/defining requirements.Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.Design, develop and modify architecture components, application interfaces and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.Design, develop and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.Automate manual release activities.Required Skills5+ years of experience in Java development for large, complex enterprise applications (using JDK 8+ and Spring framework).Strong experience writing and consuming web services – REST, SOAP.Proficiency using software development tools: GIT, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA.Experience in application container setup and application deployment in Linux environments.Thorough understanding of application security concepts, including authentication, authorization, session management; familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, FIDO protocols and related products.Solid technical background and understanding of system architecture, load balancing, TLS.Familiarity with cryptographic and PKI concepts.Ability to understand vendor or leading‑edge technical documents and perform proofs of concept to evaluate product options/features.Demonstrated initiative and effective independent development skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
