About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant with MedGen, you will play an essential part in supporting both residents and nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting residents with personal care, daily living tasks, and mobility
* Providing companionship and building meaningful relationships
* Supporting social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
* Helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
* Adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines
* Working alongside nursing staff and completing tasks as directed by the Nurse in Charge or management
What You Need
* QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare
* Previous experience in a healthcare or care-home setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid right to work in the Republic of Ireland
* Fluent written and spoken English
