Red Chair Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Heating Specialist to join a leading home improvement supply and installation business in Tralee. This role suits a technically strong heating professional who enjoys client interaction, site-based problem solving, and delivering high-quality survey and quotation services. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway into Senior Specialist, Team Lead, and Division Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site surveys, measurements, and technical assessments
Assess heating systems, flue routes, ventilation, and installation requirements
Define project scope and prepare accurate quotations and specifications
Identify compliance, safety, or technical risks and recommend solutions
Produce survey reports, drawings, and installation documentation
Coordinate with installation, sales, and operations teams
Build strong relationships with customers and provide expert technical guidance
Support process improvements, mentoring, and future team development
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in heating, plumbing, solid fuel, or related systems
Strong technical and commercial understanding
Experience surveying, quoting, and managing client projects
Leadership capability with interest in team development
Relevant trade qualification advantageous
Full driving licence and willingness to travel
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with salary negotiable depending on experience.
