Who you areWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Senior Payroll Manager with proven experience to join our expanding teamYou must have a minimum of 5 years' experience processing payrollsMust have USA and Canada (In-house) payroll processing experiencePayroll processing experience in Ireland, UK, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, or Saudi Arabia is a plusStrong knowledge of USA and Canada specific payroll tax, pension, benefits and wage lawsHighly proficient in data entry, ADP Workforce Now platform, Workday experience and Excel and WordAttention to detail with demonstrated organizational skills and accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines, all while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Strong organization skills and the ability to maintain detailed recordsAbility to work collaboratively across different departmentsExhibits pride in ownership and sets and adheres to uncompromising quality standards for deliverablesWhat the job involvesThis position reports directly to the Global Payroll Manager based in Dublin, Ireland, and is responsible for administering complete in-house semi-monthly payroll processes for employees across the USA and CanadaThe role is instrumental in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timeliness, while effectively coordinating between HR, Finance, and external service providersAs part of the global payroll team, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for employees in the USA and Canada. Based on the company's requirements, there may be occasions when team members are asked to support colleagues or manage additional payroll runs in EMEAAs the USA and Canadian payrolls are prepared internally, you will work closely with HR team to ensure accurate employees master data including set up of new employee records, validating employees' changes and employee terminationsReconcile and process payroll deduction changes for different country pension funds or 401k (USA), enrollments, and deductions and remit funding on a periodic basisInitiate off-cycle payments for terminations within regulatory timeframesCalculate and process country specific leave payments in accordance with country and company leave policy and regulationsEnsure all payroll related tax filings are done timely and accurately, including the set-up of new accounts with various federal and state and local agencies. Work with tax agencies and payroll service providers to resolve tax issuesEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations - monitoring federal, state, city, and local registrations for payroll taxesPrepare monthly payroll reconciliations (reconciliation of payroll GL accounts to payroll register)Participate in internal/external payroll related audits and requestsProvides support to Human Resources team to help resolve payroll-related mattersRespond to payroll related inquiries from employees and/or key stakeholdersAbility to work through payroll platform changes and implementations, various integrations, and related activitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve payroll processes, employment tax processes, and internal controls to preserve the quality, efficiency and overall effectiveness of all payroll functions while ensuring regulatory complianceManage vendors and system providers including compliance with service level agreementsCommunicate effectively with various levels of management to ensure high level of customer support and positive customer interactionsEnsuring department's ability to meet all company deadlines and annual performance goalsWork with 3rd party payroll vendors to ensure that payroll related file feeds are accurate and timely (ADP in US, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia, various 3rd party vendors in other countries)The application processOur recruitment process centers around what we call the Life Story interview, a conversational-style interview where we get to learn more about youBenefitsWork from home opportunitiesSmart, innovative, and collaborative team members located across four continents
