Main Responsibilities:
* Support reservation agents with technical assistance and provide customer satisfaction.
* Develop team members through coaching and training, setting clear goals and fostering innovative ideas.
* Implement daily activities such as profile updates, reservation modifications, and information accuracy to enhance efficiency.
* Maintain knowledge of hotel systems like Opera Cloud, Windsurfer, and agent extranets.
* Ensure the reservation team is aware of availability status to monitor occupancy, manage overbooking, track promotional offers, denials, and control rates and inventory.
* Audit Opera reservations for data accuracy.
* Manage reservation systems to handle and monitor calls properly.
* Handle prepayments according to financial procedures.
* Assist with auditing and processing travel agent commissions.
* Update no-shows and cancellations across OTAs to prevent unwanted commissions.
* Monitor and resolve failed reservations due to system issues.
* Foster relationships with key corporate and leisure clients to build loyalty and future business.
* Participate in sales events and maintain communication with the reservation team.
* Adhere to company policies, including HR procedures and visa regulations.
* Undertake project-related work as required.
Requirements:
* 2-5 years of hospitality experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
* Experience with Opera Cloud, Windsurfer, and extranets.
* Knowledge of hotel sales and contracting.
* Confident and clear communicator.
