We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to join a collaborative Legal, Sustainability, and Company Secretariat team in the insurance industry. Typically your day to day will involve: Coordinate and support Board, Sub-Committee, and AGM meetings, including minute-taking and follow-up actions. Manage statutory filings, records, and company secretarial systems. Monitor legal and regulatory developments in company law and governance. Assist in Board succession planning and maintain the Board Skills Framework. Build strong relationships with directors, stakeholders, and regulators. Support governance-related elements of ESG and sustainability initiatives. It is expected that you have experience in a Legal and/or Company Secretarial function, ideally within Financial Services. Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2014 and corporate governance frameworks and a qualification in Law or a related discipline; ICSA/CGI qualification is a plus.
