Python Developer Our client a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a Python Developer to build scalable, high-performance applications and data pipelines. The role involves working closely with technology, analytics, and quantitative teams to deliver reliable solutions within a regulated environment. Hybrid, 2 days onsite p/w - Dublin 12-month day rate contract Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Python applications and services. Build and optimise data pipelines and analytics tools. Collaborate with data scientists, quants, and technical teams. Ensure code quality through testing, performance optimisation, and best practices. Troubleshoot and support production applications. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies. Required Experience: Strong experience with Python (3.x). Familiarity with financial data or financial services environments. Proficient in SQL and relational databases. Experience with data-processing libraries. Solid understanding of OOP, modular design, and testing. Version control experience (Git). Comfortable in Agile/Scrum workflows.
