Our client, a luxury 5* Hotel in Dublin now have an exciting opportunity for a Meeting & Events Sales Manager to join their award winning team The Ideal Candidate: Proven track record in meeting and events sales management, with a keen understanding of the hospitality industry Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, coupled with a talent for building strong client relationships Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues Proficient in event planning and coordination, ensuring seamless execution of meetings and events Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to think on your feet and problem-solve effectively Some of the duties of the role will be: Leading, motivating, and coaching the M&E Sales Team to ensure 100% Guest Satisfaction.
Efficient forecasting, planning, and rostering of the department to always ensure cover, whilst adhering to payroll budgets.
Dealing with initial enquiries and sending out quotations.
Maximising hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by ensuring accurate and effective processing of conference bookings, private functions, and weddings.
Ensure all M&E requests are dealt with promptly & efficiently Be actively involved in hotel sales projects, attending sales meetings and entertaining client.
Ensure the function sheets are produced accurately and in a timely fashion using guidelines as per Standard Operation procedures.
