Auxilion are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team at Auxilion, a leading IT Managed Services Provider. This role is crucial for shaping our customer solutions, driving innovation, and significantly contributing to our business growth. You will be the trusted advisor to our clients, proactively identifying their needs (both current and unmet), crafting tailored solutions, and playing a key role in securing new business. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and technical environments. Act as a strategic consultant, providing thought leadership and proactive guidance.
Proactive Solution Development: Identify opportunities to address client needs and unmet needs through innovative and tailored solutions. Develop comprehensive architectural designs that align with client requirements, industry best practices, and our service portfolio, considering scalability, security, performance, cost‑effectiveness, and integration with existing systems.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements from clients, translating them into actionable specifications for solution development. Ensure clarity and completeness in documentation, facilitating smooth transitions to implementation teams.
Tender Response & Proposal Development: Lead the technical aspects of tender responses and proposals, crafting compelling narratives that showcase our expertise and value proposition. Develop solution architectures, pricing models, and implementation plans that address client requirements and differentiate us from competitors.
Collaboration & Business Development: Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to identify and qualify new business opportunities. Contribute to the development of new service offerings and go‑to‑market strategies. Participate in industry events and conferences to represent our company and build relationships.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues.
Governance & Standards: Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices. Ensure that solutions are aligned with our overall architectural vision and comply with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Understand client pain points and market trends to inform our solution development and service offerings.
Environment Oversight: Oversee the current environment with a view to ensuring Auxilion provides the optimum solution with the existing infrastructure, recommending improvements to increase resilience and performance, and assisting the Managed Services team in operational upkeep.
Resource Management: Manage and direct Auxilion Technical Architect resources in analysis and proactive upkeep of the current environment and creation of future solutions and roadmap plans.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years as a Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect, preferably in a Managed Services Provider environment.
Strong experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience responding to tenders and developing proposals.
Proficiency with M365, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, Citrix), storage and backup solutions, networking, and security.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
