The National Screening Service (NSS) was established by the Minister for Health and Children in January 2007. It was formed in response to a national cancer strategy advocating for a comprehensive cancer control programme. Today, the NSS is part of the Health Service Executive (HSE). It is a priority for us in the NSS that all eligible people can access our services. The NSS collaborates with various screening partners to facilitate this. Our teams provide a national service, delivering essential health screening programs.
