Role Overview
Sligo/Leitrim Disability Services operates a model of community living, with over 30 community group homes in Sligo and Leitrim. The supplementary panel will fill vacancies at Staff Nurse Disability Services across these locations.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate professional knowledge and experience across the Intellectual Disability scope of nursing practice in a number of settings including but not limited to:
Nursing Practice, Procedures & Techniques
Continuing Care
Behaviours That Concern
Quality Care
Risk Management
Person Centred Planning
Sleep overs, night duty and weekend shifts will form part of the weekly roster of this post, managed under the European Working Time Directive. Rotation across a number of different locations may be required.
