Residential Site Manager (2 roles) - Cork Our client, a leading Irish homebuilder renowned for high-quality residential developments nationwide, is recruiting a Residential Site Manager for two key Cork projects. With a proven track record in large-scale housing, they prioritise safety, quality, and efficient delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee health and safety across sites, promoting a strong safety culture and escalating issues as needed.Manage plant certification, subcontractor selection, and supplier coordination, including tender advice, cost monitoring, and programme tracking.Lead daily meetings, develop 2-week lookaheads, ensure compliance with building regulations and quality standards.Coordinate design reviews, stakeholders (services, residents, authorities), construction teams, and site meetings.Drive commercial awareness, customer service, and continuous professional development.Essential RequirementsDegree/Higher Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent, plus 7+ years post-qualification experience in large-scale residential projects.Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and knowledge of latest building regulations/certification.Excellent communication, methodical approach, team leadership, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Main projects a large-scale residential scheme (apartments, houses, commercial space) under social/cost-rental delivery, with site works underway and a multi-phase development of 3- and 4-bed family homes actively under construction.Benefits PackageCompetitive salary, performance bonus, pension matching, full health insurance, CPD funding, paid maternity/paternity leave, life assurance, and more.
