Communications Administrator - Graduate Role - Maynooth

Public Sector | Temporary: 6-12 Month FTC | Onsite | Immediate Start

Location:
Maynooth, Kildare

Contract:
Full-time (35 hour week), Temporary 6-12 month contract

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for public service and digital engagement? We're working with a public sector organisation dedicated to upholding high standards in education, and they are looking for a
Communications Administrator
to join their dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a
recent graduate or early-career professional with hands-on experience in communications, marketing, or a related fiel
d through internships, summer placements, or previous roles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with
strong writing skills and a flair for digital communications
who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll play a key role in promoting important initiatives, driving digital campaigns, supporting stakeholder engagement, and delivering impactful content across a variety of channels.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Supporting the implementation of the organisation's Communications Strategy
* Creating and scheduling content across social media platforms
* Assisting in the planning and coordination of stakeholder and public events
* Monitoring and updating website content to ensure accessibility and relevance
* Helping to manage shared mailboxes and internal communications
* Evaluating opportunities for digital campaigns, including paid advertising
* Upholding brand and accessibility standards across all communication channels

What We're Looking For:

* Ideally a minimum of 6+ months' experience in a communications, marketing, or digital content role (internships and student placements welcome)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and Canva
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A proactive, team-oriented approach
* Creativity and attention to detail
* A keen interest in public sector communications

Desirable:

* A third-level qualification in communications or a related field
* Irish language skills
* Experience with Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign)
* Knowledge of digital marketing best practices

This is a
fully onsite role
based in
Maynooth
