The Role of a Construction Project Lead
Job Overview
Your organisation is a large, tier one main building contractor specialising in mission-critical projects across Ireland and Europe. They deliver comprehensive data centre solutions, providing services from design to construction, encompassing civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical expertise.
You will be based in West Dublin as a CSA Lead, overseeing all civils, structural and architectural elements of the hyperscale project. As a lead, you will manage a project team of 50+ including discipline leads, package managers, design managers, engineers and site supervisors. Additionally, you will support your team in managing 20+ subcontractors.
The role involves: ensuring ongoing client satisfaction with the project, particularly regarding cost, scope, and timescales; proactively monitoring the project's health & safety processes and team culture and behaviours; monitoring and ensuring quality targets are achieved and exceeded on the project; reporting directly to the Project Director.
Requirements
* A degree in a relevant construction or engineering subject is required.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior project manager role overseeing projects exceeding €50m is necessary.
* Previous experience delivering projects from concept to handover is preferred.
* Excellent organisational, communication, people and time management skills are essential.
* Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
