Key Role: SLG Coordinator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to oversee the safe and compliant setup of Signage, Lighting, and Guarding at roadworks sites in West Cork.
* Plan and implement SLG initiatives in line with traffic management regulations to ensure minimal delays for clients.
* Coordinate crews during installation and removal of signs, barriers, and lighting while prioritizing public and worker safety.
* Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments to guarantee compliance with health & safety standards and legal requirements.
* Liaise effectively with local authorities and utility companies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
* Maintain accurate records of SLG setups and inspections to facilitate informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A valid SLG/SOLAS card or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in traffic management or civil works, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
