Business Development Manager
The primary objective of this role is to drive branch profitability and sustainability through local market presence, community engagement, and customer-centric strategies. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales office to achieve performance targets across sales revenue, customer acquisition, staff engagement, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all aspects of the sales office, promoting a one-stop-shop for retail and commercial insurance solutions.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to drive branch growth and expansion into new markets.
* Manage resource utilization through effective footfall management, inbound and outbound telephony, and fulfillment activity.
* Promote simplification and facilitate self-service convenience for customers.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with business partners, community leaders, and affinity groups.
* Coaches and develops staff performance through personalized coaching, development, and support.
* Ensure adherence to regulatory and legislative requirements.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require the following qualifications and skills:
* MCC Qualified in Personal and Commercial General Insurance.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar or financial services role.
* Full clean driving license.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
* Clear understanding of Performance Management principles.
