IT Manufacturing Technician
We are looking for a motivated IT professional to provide onsite support and escalation for enterprise solutions within Manufacturing and R&D. In this role, you will work closely with IT Business Partners and Global IT to ensure systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 support for manufacturing and R&D systems (desktops, OS, antivirus, applications)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring proper documentation
Support integration of manufacturing systems in line with Industry 4.0 standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Advanced Operations, and R&D
Contribute to knowledge base articles and promote shift-left initiatives
Ensure compliance with IT security standards (patching, antivirus, firewall)
Participate in global IT projects and support enterprise system adoption
Recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings
Support shop floor systems and machine-level integrations
Contribute to IT operational processes (incident, problem, change, asset management)
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Experience in manufacturing or R&D IT environments is an advantage
ITIL Foundation certification (required)
Industry 4.0 or Microsoft certifications are a plus
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to influence and work across teams
