We are currently seeking a Cost Engineering professional to support our clients' projects in County Kerry. As a key member of the project team, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate cost control throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Prepare cost calculations for emerging technologies.
* Support general costing queries raised by the sales department.
* Collaborate in developing financial status reports for active contracts.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of cost configurators.
* Suggest improvements to internal costing processes.
* Assist in preparing budget estimates during project pre-costing phase.
* Generate cost estimates for production and optional technical features in tenders.
* Participate in contract financial reviews.
Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.
3. Able to interpret technical specifications and connect design with cost impact.
4. Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
