The Occupational Safety Specialist will collaborate with management to develop and implement safety systems, ensuring compliance with legislative demands.
Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to achieving business objectives through innovative approaches that meet H&S requirements.
2. Ensure employees and contractors adhere to safe working practices.
3. Perform site safety inspections and audits.
4. Deliver training sessions and conduct inductions.
5. Update risk assessments and investigate incidents.
6. Maintain accident reporting and implement improvements.
7. Assess emergency procedures.
8. Manage safety training records.
9. Ensure statutory inspections and equipment maintenance.
10. Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
11. Keep the safety statement up-to-date.
12. Inform management of changes in safety legislation.
Requirements:
