The role
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) invites applications for the Clinical Nurse Education Facilitator (NICU) position. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality education in neonatal intensive care and supporting staff development across CHI’s paediatric services.
Essential Requirements
Be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN) on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be eligible to be registered.
Hold a postgraduate level 8 or level 9 master’s in Neonatal Intensive Care.
Have a minimum of 5 years neonatal intensive care experience.
Demonstrate experience in staff education and training that includes:
Programme development
Teaching and assessment
Application of adult learning principles

CHI has transitioned to a one commencement day per month for all new employees, internal transfers, and secondments. This update aligns with changes to our monthly payroll and the launch of a new corporate induction program.
