Guesthouse Assistant (All-Round Duties) – Full Time

We are a family-run guesthouse seeking a friendly, reliable full-time Guesthouse Assistant to join our team. This is an all-round role offering great work–life balance, with early finishes or afternoon/evening shifts.
This position would suit a mature applicant with experience or a young, enthusiastic person keen to learn and develop hospitality skills.
Working Hours
* Morning shift: 7:30am – 2:00pm / 2:30pm
OR
* Afternoon/Evening shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm (reception focused)
Shift pattern agreed based on suitability and experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming guests and assisting at reception
* Check-ins, check-outs and handling guest enquiries
* Breakfast service and light food preparation
* Housekeeping and room preparation
* Cleaning and maintaining guest areas
* Quickly and calmly resolving guest questions or small issues as they arise
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the guesthouse

* Comfortable working independently and using initiative
* Happy with a varied, hands-on role
* Hospitality experience an advantage, but not essential
