This is a great opportunity for an experienced fabricator to join a dynamic team delivering bespoke steelwork for commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Interpret fabrication drawings for structural and architectural steel components. Cut, form, weld, and assemble steelwork to project specifications using MIG and arc welding methods. Fabricate staircases, handrails, balustrades, mezzanine floors, and structural steel frames. Operate workshop machinery such as band saws, pillar drills, grinders, and plasma cutters. Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish meet client and safety standards. Liaise with workshop and site installation teams to ensure seamless production and delivery. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety protocols and workshop procedures. Requirements: Minimum 23 years experience in a structural or secondary steel fabrication role. Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication from drawings. Experience working with mild steel or stainless steel in a workshop setting. Strong understanding of fabrication tools and safety procedures. Ability to work on bespoke, one-off projects with a high level of accuracy. Trade qualification in metal fabrication, welding, or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
