Civil Engineer Role
Our organization is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading the design and planning of road improvement projects in County Cork, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Design and Planning: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and planning road construction projects, taking into account factors such as traffic flow, environmental impact, and safety standards.
* Project Management: The successful candidate will coordinate and manage road construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all aspects are delivered within budget and on time.
* Site Inspections: Regular site inspections will be conducted to monitor construction progress and compliance with engineering standards.
* Collaboration and Integration: Our Civil Engineer will collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to integrate road projects into overall infrastructure plans.
* Cost Estimation: Accurate cost estimates will be prepared for materials, labour, and equipment required for road construction projects.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying and assessing potential risks, implementing quality control measures, communicating with local communities, and maintaining detailed project documentation.
