Commercial Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing team. As a key member of the commercial department, you will play a vital role in delivering commercial support to project teams, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
* Provide robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level
* Carry out cost management including forecasting
* Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place
* Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
* Be responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation and financial accounting
* Evaluate commercial processes and propose improvements where necessary
* Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors within the commercial department
Requirements
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
* HND or degree-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
* Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
* Excellent knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis
* Ability to work independently on own initiative and as part of a team
* Strong time management skills with ability to work to tight deadlines
