Cpl is working with a specialist not-for-profit organisation that provides residential support to young people seeking international protection. We are currently seeking a Human Resource Officer to support the delivery of a professional, compliant, and staff-focused HR service.This is a hybrid position, with 3 days onsite in Tullamore and 2 days working from home.(Probation period is fully onsite)Regular travel to other service locations will also be required.Responsibilities:Support recruitment processes from advertising to onboarding, following safer recruitment practicesPrepare job ads, arrange interviews, and communicate with candidatesProcess and track Garda Vetting, references, and pre-employment checksPrepare contracts and onboarding packsCoordinate staff induction, including Children First and safeguarding trainingSet up, update, and audit staff files in line with Tusla and organisational requirementsEnsure all staff records are complete, accurate, and stored securely in line with GDPRSupport internal audits and Tusla inspectionsMaintain training records and the Training MatrixOrganise training, track certifications, and flag upcoming expiriesSupport payroll updates for new starters, leavers, and contract changesKeep HR and payroll systems up to date and accuratePrepare HR information for management reportsHandle confidential HR data and support data protection requestsAssist with improving HR systems and processesExperience RequiredA relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related area2+ experience in a HR support or HR administration roleGood knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practiceExperience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR processesA clear understanding of GDPR and data protection when handling HR informationExperience keeping staff files and HR records accurate and compliantComfortable using Microsoft Office and HR systems (HRIS)Strong organisational skills with good communication and people skillsA full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwideIf this sounds like a role you would be interested in and suitable for, please email your CV to (email protected)
