We're now hiring an Engineering Lead to coordinate engineering, detailing, production, and scheduling activities across our fabrication workflow.What We OfferLead role in a respected, Irish-owned engineering firmWork on technically complex, high-value projectsEngage across design, fabrication, and site delivery phasesSupportive, multidisciplinary team and modern production environmentKey ResponsibilitiesMachinery & Programming:Oversee programming, fault resolution, and maintenance of machinesDrawing Office Coordination:Manage workloads for steel detailers and track drawing progressPrepare fabrication packages, cut lists, and machine nestsImprove drawing output for ease of fabrication and erectionMaterials Management:Track stock levels and procurement for upcoming projectsMaintain knowledge of steel grades and material typesPerformance Monitoring:Set KPIs for machine operators and detailersReport on output quality, waste reduction, and schedule performanceCollaboration & Leadership:Liaise with factory, production, and site teamsAttend planning meetings and coordinate project readinessMinimise downtime and improve production efficiencyImplement lean principles and troubleshoot process issuesWhat You BringStrong background in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of steel grades, detailing processes, and workshop operationsProficiency in machine scheduling, drawing software, and stock trackingExcellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsIT proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a live production settingContact: -Job Types: Full-time, PermanentAbility to commute/relocate:Roscommon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
