Position SummaryFusion Pipeline Products (FPP) have been a supply and distribution provider of pipeline and construction products for over 20 years. Based in Dublin and Sligo, our organisation has been at the forefront of supplying material and supply solutions to contractors, designers and utility companies throughout Ireland.The coordinator will oversee the daily warehouse operations in our distribution environment in Sligo, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping processes. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence to support timely and accurate distribution of goods, supervising other warehouse staff, and maintaining safety and compliance standards________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesOperation coordinatoro Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.o Partake, assign and monitor tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping orders, and administrative functions.o Provide coaching for the warehouse team to encourage improvement where necessary.Operations Managemento Overseeing and partake daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient workflows, including, offloading and checking paperwork, receipting in goods, storage, picking orders, preparation and checking for dispatcho Arrange countrywide distribution through our courierso Implement and monitor FPP standard operating procedures (SOPs).o Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.Inventory Controlo Maintain accurate stock levels through rolling counts and audits.o Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in conjunction with administrative team in Dublin.o Coordinate with procurement and logistics team in Sligo and Dublin on stock movement and replenishment between our various warehousesHealth, Safety, and Complianceo Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.o Ensure compliance with company policies, and industry regulations.o Conduct regular safety training and inspections of plant and equipmentProcess Improvemento Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize space utilization.o Support the implementation of warehouse management improvementso Monitor KPIs such as order picking accuracy, productivity, and on-time shipping.________________________________________Qualifications & Skillso Strong leadership and people management skills.o Solid understanding of inventory control and logistics processes.o Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.o Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.o Proven experience in warehouse or distribution supervision (3–5 years preferred).o Knowledge of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.o Forklift certificationo Manual handling certification (Can be arranged by FPP)o Knowledge of industry an advantage but not essentialJob Type: Full-timeSalary: NEG. depending on experienceSchedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pmLocation: Cairns Rd SligoJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €29,000.00-€38,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
