The Role
* As a Senior Associate Solicitor, you will:
* Advise on planning challenges, including defending judicial reviews for statutory bodies
* Manage Superior Court litigation, including Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and CJEU matters
* Provide advice to regulatory/licensing bodies on complex enforcement and licensing queries
* Draft charges and advocate in District Court prosecutions, with and without Counsel
* Guide clients on statutory interpretation of planning and environmental legislation
* Manage a diverse caseload of planning and environmental files efficiently and effectively
* Keep clients informed of key legal developments and trends nationally and internationally
* Assist with business development, including speaking at seminars and presenting to clients
The Person
* 6+ years’ experience in planning, environmental, or related litigation fields (more experienced or junior candidates will also be considered)
* Demonstrated litigation expertise, ideally in judicial review
* Strong commercial awareness and client focus
* Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients
* Organised, proactive and ambitious, with a positive, solution-driven attitude
* Strong communicator and collaborative team player
