Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Maintenance Technicians play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our facilities. They are responsible for identifying and rectifying equipment malfunctions, maintaining scheduled upkeep, sourcing and installing necessary parts, developing and implementing effective equipment procedures, upgrading equipment for increased efficiency and quality, performing calibration tasks and submitting comprehensive reports.
The ideal candidate will possess a senior trade or diploma in electrical/mechanical disciplines, exhibit proven experience in preventive and reactive maintenance/repairs of high-volume process equipment, demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems, BMS, automation, and microprocessor controls, showcase proficient communication skills, adept teamwork abilities, and skilled prioritization and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to all health and safety protocols and work in a safe manner.
* Detect and resolve equipment issues.
* Maintain accurate equipment schedules.
* Select and install necessary equipment components.
* Develop and implement optimized equipment procedures.
* Enhance equipment functionality for improved performance and quality.
* Conduct thorough equipment calibrations and submit detailed reports.
* Preserve air filtration, compressed air, RO water, and mains water systems.
* Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance tasks.
* Provide training on new installations and equipment modifications.
* Resolve non-compliance issues.
* Perform miscellaneous facility tasks such as painting, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.
* Participate in risk assessments and equipment validations.
