Customer Service Administrator
CPL Recruitment is currently working with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Customer Service Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced environment where customer service and teamwork are at the heart of the operation.
This role is central to day-to-day activities and plays a key part in delivering a high-quality customer experience. The successful candidate will manage customer service and sales enquiries, coordinate field-based engineers, and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing a high volume of incoming service calls and ensuring timely processing and resolution
2. Liaising with customers to follow up on queries, provide updates, and confirm scheduled call-outs
3. Reviewing service worksheets, closing service calls, and accurately raising invoices
4. Ensuring all service activities are correctly charged and recorded
5. Supporting the team with quotes, tenders, and document control in line with company procedures
6. Providing general office administration support, including office sales and welcoming customers
7. Assisting with ad hoc tasks to support daily service office operations
Skills and Experience
8. Strong customer service focus with a positive, proactive can-do attitude
9. Professional, courteous, and confident telephone manner
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
11. A reliable team player who can also work independently when required
12. Excellent attention to detail with strong IT and systems knowledge
13. Previous office-based experience is essential
