Operations Manager – General Insurance
Location: Cork (Hybrid – periodic travel in Ireland & Europe)
Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity for a motivated professional (minimum APA-qualified) with a strong operational and leadership background to step into an international-facing role. You'll be responsible for performance delivery, regulatory compliance, and client success for teams operating in Ireland and outside of Ireland, while partnering with peers to embed a strong risk culture and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead operational delivery for local and international teams, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
2. Work closely with on-location managers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
4. Support and guide teams through a transformation roadmap towards a blended human/digital service model.
5. Monitor performance metrics, identify improvements, and implement solutions.
Requirements:
6. CIP or APA qualified in General Insurance.
7. 3+ years' management experience in the insurance industry.
8. Strong leadership, relationship management, and change management skills.
9. Experience in contact centre operations, forecasting, and technology.
10. Confident communicator with a proactive approach.
