We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reality Labs (RL) Acounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of our innovative products ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls. You will leverage your business acumen, accounting experience, and systems background to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions with AI integrations.In this role, you will work with limited direction to problem-solve and recommend solutions to ambiguous and emerging problems. Your ability to effectively communicate and facilitate information flow between all business partners will set you apart from your peers and fuel your success in this role.Reality Labs Accounting Manager Responsibilities:Oversee global end-to-end accounting processes and controls with a particular focus on revenue, fulfillment, rebate and incentive accountingPartner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions (including AI integrations)Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to understand emerging business practices and provide accounting support for new initiativesOwn month-end close procedures, including subledger management, journal entry and reconciliation review, and other duties as necessaryProvide well presented analytical insights that concisely tell the RL story through the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting packages to managementFulfill internal and external audit requestsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline6+ years of experience in accounting or financeACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualificationExperience with U.S. GAAP and Internal ControlsExperience in the Tech industry or similar high-growth/fast-paced environmentProven experience improving business processes and systemsHighly collaborative temperament and evident communication skillsSelf-starter with actual attention to detail and possesses an understanding of the "big picture"Able to operate with a high degree of autonomyPreferred Qualifications:Manufacturing, consumer electronics, cost or fulfillment accounting experiencePublic Accounting ExperienceExperience partnering with Operations and Financial Planning PartnersExperience with Data Management, AI Solutioning or SQLExperience leveraging BPO resources effectivelyExperience with Oracle Financials and HyperionAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
