Health & Safety Advisor Position
Job Description:
We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating health and safety activities across the organization, supporting and developing policies to minimize risks.
The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH certification and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a civils construction background.
* Deliver health and safety contracts and policies
* Conduct regular inspections of projects and report any action points
* Organize daily workload and routes to ensure all projects within the business portfolio are visited within a set time period
* Complete inspection reports to a high standard
* Upload and send inspection reports to relevant stakeholders
* Work closely with Contracts Managers and Project Managers
* Recommend prioritized actions to improve safety
* Facilitate continuous improvement on sites as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* NEBOSH certification
* At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
* Civils construction sector experience
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to build rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Confident use of Microsoft Office
* Full driving license
