This role involves providing professional HR support to an educational provider based in Dublin City Centre.

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a working knowledge of employment law, risk and compliance who can take ownership of tasks, work with minimal supervision, and deliver outputs to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Prepare, issue, and track employment contracts, including transitions from fixed-term to permanent.
">
* Maintain visibility of contract end dates and ensure renewals or changes are actioned on time.
">
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring documentation, systems access, and records are complete and compliant.
">
* Maintain employee records on internal systems.
">
* Update and monitor HR trackers for fixed-term contracts, probation, visas.
">
* Ensure GDPR compliance in all document handling and storage.
">
* Provide accurate and timely information for audits or compliance checks.
">
* Draft job adverts and coordinate candidate responses.
">
* Shortlist applicants against role criteria and liaise with hiring managers.
">
* Schedule interviews and issue offers of employment.
">
* Collect and verify right-to-work documents, references, and onboarding materials.
">
* Track absences, contract changes, and other payroll-related data.
">
* Ensure payroll adjustment information is accurate and submitted on time.
">
* Liaise with the Finance team on payroll queries as required.
">
* Deliver defined HR projects to agreed deadlines such as data clean-up, contract transitions, tracker development, system improvements.

* Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, follow-through, and clear reporting on progress.

* Contribute to policy updates, compliance reviews, and development of new Standard Operating Procedures.

* Identify opportunities to streamline or automate recurring HR processes.

* Respond to HR queries from managers and staff promptly and professionally.

* Resolve administrative issues independently wherever possible.

* Provide professional support to the Head of HR on people processes and project delivery.

Person Specification:
">
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an HR administration role.
">
* Proven track record of delivering both day-to-day HR administration and project-based work.

* Medium level familiarity with Irish employment practices and HR compliance.
">
* Experience using HR systems such as internal tools, SharePoint, AI, and Microsoft 365 tools.
">
* Recruitment administration experience.
">
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
">
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
">
* Proven ability to manage tasks and projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.
">
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
">
* Resourceful, proactive, and confident in problem-solving (including using digital tools and AI for guidance).

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Hours & Reporting:
">
This role will be part-time – Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Bank holiday weeks will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
