 
        Quantity Surveyor – Co. TipperaryOur client, a well-established construction company based in Nenagh, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Working across a range of construction projects, this role offers the opportunity to take real ownership of your work and play a key part in the company's continued success.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation for a variety of construction projects.Take ownership of cost control, including tracking budgets, forecasting, and preparing regular cost reports.Support the procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers, including reviewing quotations and negotiating terms.Visit sites periodically to verify progress, assess variations, and monitor costs.Prepare and agree valuations, variations, and final accounts in line with company and client procedures.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Provide accurate commercial and contractual advice throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.RequirementsDegree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within a main or subcontractor environment.Background in concrete, civil, or general construction projects preferred.Strong understanding of Irish construction contracts, procurement, and cost management practices.Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office, and experience using CostX, Buildsoft, or similar software.
