Job Title: Research Scientist Lead
\
This role oversees the technical aspects and laboratory conduct of a significant service offering or client program.
\
Main Responsibilities:
\
\
1. Provides focused technical expertise as a key scientific resource for a broad array of instrument applications.
\
2. Participates in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to keep the laboratory current and to meet business needs or explore new growth opportunities.
\
3. Assists in the assessment of client audit recommendations and SOP review.
\
4. Serves as a technical resource for internal staff to resolve scientific issues, study design and project technical requirements.
\
5. Requirements:
\
\
6. Educated to a bachelor's degree level in a relevant Scientific area, i.e., chemistry, biochemistry
\
7. 12+ years' relevant industry experience within a GMP laboratory
\
8. Familiarity with HPLC, GC, GCMS, ICPMS, KF, FTIR, dissolution and other analytical techniques.
\
9. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
\
10. Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
\
11. Results-driven with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
\
12. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.
\
13. Other duties as assigned.
