Job Title: Support Worker
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing direct support to vulnerable individuals, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Providing person-centred support to service users, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
* Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care and household management.
* Supporting service users to access community resources and services.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
* Qualifications and Experience:
* A recognised qualification in social care or a related field (minimum level 7).
* Previous experience working in a similar setting is highly desirable.
* At least 6 months' experience working in the social care sector (placement experience considered).
* A full clean driver's license is preferred.
* Knowledge of HIQA standards is essential.
