Job Title: Anaesthetics and Critical Care Lecturer
The successful candidate will participate in the development, direction, teaching, facilitation and examinations of the undergraduate teaching program. They will also contribute to a growing clinical and translational research program in Anaesthetics and Critical Care.
'Principal Duties' include contributing to clinical courses such as ACLS, IBU and PALS; participating in ongoing research projects including assessment of patients with anaemia presenting for surgery; peri-operative interventions to decrease graft dysfunction during renal transplantation; mechanical ventilation of brain injured patients; assessment of monocyte dysfunction in sepsis and ARDS. In addition they will perform Clinical Work on-site in RCSI Teaching Hospitals ensuring adherence to Royal College policies.

A strong background in medicine is essential for this role along with excellent communication skills. Experience using E-learning/VLE systems would be advantageous as well as previous experience of teaching students within an academic environment; -----------------------------------
