Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Ireland (Remote)
Department: IT / Data Management
Reports To: Chief Data Officer (CDO)
Salary Range: €100,000 - €110,000 p/a
About the Role:
This role is with a global retail client seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, deploy, and manage their data architecture. The successful candidate will ensure data availability, usability, consistency, and integrity across the organization and will collaborate with the US Architecture team, playing a senior role within Irish operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with expertise in database management, data modeling, and integration.
3. Proficiency in SQL, familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Java, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
4. Certifications such as TOGAF, CDMP, or cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
5. Strong experience with AWS services like Redshift, Lambda, Athena, EMR, SQS, Data Pipelines, Glue, etc., and in Python development.
