Clinical Psychologist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment and Intervention: Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
* Consultation and Supervision: Offer consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with service protocols.
* Service Development: Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and ongoing quality improvement.
* Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychology.
* Training and Education: Develop and deliver training and psychoeducational programmes for families and professionals.
* Ethics and Regulation: Uphold the ethical standards of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology, validated by the Dept of Health in Ireland. You will also require minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), and strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology (validated by the Dept of Health in Ireland).
* Experience: Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
* Registration: Eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
* Skills: Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
* Complex Needs Experience: Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
* Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
* Training Experience: Previous experience in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, systemic therapy).
