Job Objectives
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to lead and oversee architectural projects within Nua Healthcare. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and design through construction and completion—while ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations and healthcare industry standards. The Architect will play a key role in project coordination and stakeholder engagement to drive excellence in our built environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate multiple architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
* Prepare and submit statutory approval applications, ensuring adherence to Irish building regulations and planning laws.
* Develop detailed architectural designs and technical CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
* Liaise with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and address design or compliance issues.
* Identify and resolve design and construction challenges, implementing effective, practical solutions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date architectural records, including specifications, drawings, and compliance documents.
* Introduce best practices and modern design solutions to enhance efficiency and quality in construction projects.
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of project goals and successful delivery.
Skills Requirements
Qualifications
* Degree in Architecture recognized by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and eligibility for registration as an architect in Ireland.
* Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in healthcare, residential, or public sector construction.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines.
* Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning laws.
* Familiarity with healthcare-specific compliance requirements is beneficial but essential.
* Full clean driver's license.

* Ability to effectively and concisely communicate with team members, management, external contractors, and key stakeholders.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost estimation and financial management.
