Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Specialist to manage project workflow, support resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects.
* Design and develop customised solutions for manufacturing automation and safety systems
* Lead the manufacture, build, and validation of systems, including pneumatics, servos, variable frequency drives, relays, communications networks, HMI touchscreens, and other components
* Create and document programs that are easily understood by trained personnel
* Develop functional requirement specifications, design for manufacturability and engineering (DFMEA), operating plans, work instructions, maintenance spares, process flow diagrams, and other production documentation
* Support day-to-day manufacturing escalations and maintain accurate records
* Train operators and trainers on new systems
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Robotics/Automation or relevant engineering discipline
* 2+ years' experience in a high-volume automated manufacturing plant
* Proficient in MS Office, Siemens, RS Logix, AutoCAD/SolidWorks
* In-depth knowledge of electrical and control systems, vision, sensors, inspection, communications systems
* Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and proven track record
* Excellent communication skills across all levels in the business
* Resourceful and motivated to succeed in a high-output environment
