A leading business is looking to enhance its IT capabilities by hiring a proactive and skilled Junior IT Support Analyst. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure fundamentals, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 connectivity and user accounts, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
* Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and IT services within the organisation, delivering timely resolutions to technical issues.
* Manage the ticketing system, including triaging and monitoring tickets, to ensure efficient issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
* Assist in maintaining IT systems and hardware, performing regular checks and maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and support tickets, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
* Support IT projects from planning to implementation under senior staff guidance, contributing to the development of new systems and processes.
* Develop and deliver user training on Office 365 applications and other IT tools and systems, enhancing the skills and productivity of the team.
* Monitor IT systems for security issues and contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of organisational data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in IT principles and practices.
* 1–2 years of experience in an IT support role, including hands-on Office 365 administration, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support.
* Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure fundamentals, including network protocols, database management, and operating systems.
* Proficient in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
* Solid knowledge of Office 365 suite and its administration, including setup, configuration, and migration.
* Knowledge of Jira Service Management software would be an advantage, enabling the candidate to leverage industry-leading tools for IT service management.
