Job Description
We are inviting applications for a full-time Bar Tender / Food & Beverage professional who has knowledge and experience in beverage and cocktail making, bar and food service experience with an eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering 5* service to join and enhance our established team in Sheen Bar.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Beverages and food service to the Sheen Lounge, Restaurant Lounge, Library, Drawing Room, Bar, and Brasserie, and Ring of Kerry GC as scheduled.
* Preparation of beverages for the Signature Restaurant.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with HACCP and hotel standards.
* Friendly and efficient operation of service.
* Following opening and closing procedures and balancing off of micros.
This is a full-time position on a roster that includes weekends and evening shifts.

Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in the following areas are essential:
* Comprehensive knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards, quality presentation, and beverage products.
* Comprehensive knowledge of all beverages and their origins.
* Extensive cocktail knowledge.
* Understanding of stock rotation, storage, and changing kegs.
* Flexibility to cater for guests’ requirements, even at short notice, always professionally.
* Ability to ensure guest expectations are met and surpassed as part of the team.
* Food, snacks, and afternoon teas are served in the bar from 10 am to 9:30 pm daily; serving all is part of the bartender role at Sheen Falls Lodge.
Personal Qualities:
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
* Self-motivated with good personal organization, able to work alone.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar position at a luxury establishment.
* Fluent English, both oral and written, is essential.
