As an Automation Intern, you will help support Automation Manufacturing Systems and Infrastructure, while working on the multiple national award-winning Sanofi Waterford biopharmaceutical and medical device campus, which is located in Waterford on Ireland's southeast coast.

Main responsibilities:

* Support our site Automation projects
* Work in a dynamic team-based environment
* Updating Team & Site documentation
* Assist in the Automation roadmap Project Delivery
* Comply to all Sanofi Automation documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development
* Support the Digital / Automation & IT teams in maintaining hardware and software systems
* Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
* Contribute to introduction and adoption of new Automation within the company

About you

To excel in this role, you will need to have:

* A degree in progress, ideally in Engineering or Computer Science
* Proficiency in common IT applications, such as Microsoft Office
* A basic understanding of computer networking
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
* A solid work ethic and keen attention to detail
* The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
* Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused and proactive approach
* The ability to remain calm, confident, and focused under pressure and tight deadlines
* A resourceful and innovative mindset
* A strong appreciation for diversity and integrity
