Production Coordinator Job Summary
This is a key role in the planning team for our events, providing administrative support to the Event Manager and ensuring due diligence when costing, booking, and managing all infrastructure and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Event Infrastructure Planning: Prepare specifications for all infrastructure to ensure smooth execution of events.
* Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate and agree best prices for each contract using agreed rates under group buying deals where applicable.
* Logistics and Operations: Keep track of whether all purchase orders have come back approved and send out business T&Cs.
* Contractor and Vendor Management: Collate and book all contractors', sponsors, bars & traders and staff requirements onsite as required.
* Post-Event Reconciliation: Reconcile missing equipment, damaged vehicles and plant post-show.
This role requires exceptional organisational and administrative skills, excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise and meet deadlines, work under pressure, and be proactive in problem-solving.
