Service Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to lead our residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring a safe and empowering environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership to staff, promoting a culture of respect and person-centred practice.
* Collaborate with senior management on service planning, quality improvement, and risk management.
* Prepare and lead inspections, audits, and follow-up action plans.
* Develop and implement individualised support plans, ensuring high-quality care.
* Promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing of residents through evidence-based practices.
* Lead and supervise the staff team, providing opportunities for continuous professional development.
* Manage staffing levels, rosters, and allocation of duties to meet regulatory needs.
* Support recruitment, induction, probation, and performance management processes.
* Facilitate regular team meetings and reflective practice sessions.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in line with legislation.
* Implement risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are embedded in practice.
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Experience in leading residential services.
* Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
* Ability to promote a safe and inclusive environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
