Job Title: Financial Transaction Processor
Job Description:
This is a unique 6-month project assignment where you will assist in automating the current manual Accounts Payable and Employee Expenses process. The role would suit someone with AP experience and an interest in process review and improvement.
The main objectives of this project include implementing and integrating a new AP system with existing finance systems, processing and reconciling invoices, payments and bank transactions, reviewing AP transactions prior to loading to the general ledger, preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax filings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the implementation and integration of a new AP system with the existing finance systems.
* Process and reconcile invoices, payments and bank transactions.
* Review AP transactions prior to loading to the general ledger.
* Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of AP processes and systems, ability to analyze and improve financial transaction processes, excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in using AP software and systems, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
