About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in leading the team and driving the success of our new store. You'll:
* Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service and hit sales targets.
* Coach and develop colleagues, supporting their growth and boosting performance.
* Deliver sales success by maximising opportunities, analysing store data, and staying on top of market trends.
* Ensure operational excellence – from compliance and stock management to maintaining high store standards.
* Champion health & safety, creating a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
* Support with recruitment, training, and reviews, helping to build a high-performing, positive team culture.
What We're Looking For
* Passion for golf and customer service – or a willingness to learn quickly
* Proven leadership skills, with experience motivating and coaching a team.
* Operational know-how, including compliance, store standards, and stock management.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills based on data and customer insights.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.
* Organised and proactive, with the drive to deliver results and keep improving.
