We are seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager to lead projects in food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee projects in regulated food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying techniques.
* Model and explain automated processes to the team.
* Coach and develop the technical team.
* Ensure new equipment is validated to QA standards.
* Prepare process flows, specs, and operating instructions.
* Monitor key variables (temperature, pressure, viscosity) during production.
* Troubleshoot process/equipment issues cross-functionally.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in Food Process Engineering or related field.
* 10+ years of engineering experience.
* Prior experience in Dairy/Food Process Engineering is preferred.
* Knowledge of spray drying or evaporation is a plus.
* Experience with thermal dairy processing is desirable.
* Familiarity with powder conveying systems is advantageous.
* Understanding of ATEX environments can be beneficial.
* Strong experience in automated pharma/food manufacturing is essential.
